No it does not transfer over.

The original 1 year manufacturer’s warranty does transfer, as long as the customer service rep can verify the history of the phone and the original purchase date in the billing system. However, any extended warranty purchased by the person selling you the phone will not transfer over.

If for some reason you need to use the warranty and Verizon Wireless cannot verify the original purchase date, you can call manufacturer of the phone directly.
